For a change, Google and the government of the United States have switched sides in the courtroom as Google filled a suit against the US, because the Department of the Interior didn’t consider Google’s products (Google Docs) when choosing a system to handle their online documents. Generally, the government has to go through all options before picking their product.
In addition, Google’s online Web Apps are free to use compared to Microsoft’s Online Application, the package chosen by the government, which raises the question of how well a solution they choose.
